I have a blog!?!?

Been so busy I haven’t posted in ages! Here is some of the reasons why…

  1. Marlo! - That is one great little girl, but she does require a fair bit of attention
  2. Winter Renovations - the major part of this is done (until next winter), just touch up left
  3. St.John’s Farmers’ Market - we’re on the organizing committee for this… and the first one is this Saturday from 9-2 at the Lions’ Chalet!!!
  4. New York City - Lori and I had a little vacation while the grandparents took care of Marlo… thanks, it was fun :)
  5. Ice Bergs - they are just cool and they are every where this year!

Lots of other things of course, that is just a small sample of course.

The Basement Renovations

The basement renovations have started, and it’s going pretty good so far.  The electrician is almost done with his stuff, so we’re well on our way into it all now!

While tearing down one of the old walls, after getting through about 20 layers of wall paper, some quite pretty, I found a bit of news paper from The Evening Telegram on Dec 4, 1901. So I guess it’s official, that half of the house is 100+ years old… at least that is when they started putting up wall paper, I think the room was originally a coal bin :)
